Take your physical therapy expertise to the next level by making a meaningful difference in school communities near The Villages, FL. This full-time, on-site contract position engages you in supporting K-12 students, including some Pre-K, across multiple campuses within a dynamic and collaborative educational environment. You’ll join a supportive PT team and enjoy the variety of itinerant work—typically serving two or three schools each day and collaborating to manage a well-balanced caseload.

Key Qualifications:

• Hold an active Florida Physical Therapist license.
• School-based experience strongly preferred, though new applicants with a passion for pediatrics are encouraged to apply.
• Comfortable traveling between school sites and engaging with diverse student populations.
• Clear and professional communication skills for both direct and indirect services.
• Commitment to timely completion of onboarding and credentialing requirements.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Provide direct and indirect physical therapy interventions tailored to K-12 (and some Pre-K) students’ needs.
• Collaborate with a fellow PT and PTA to manage approximately 94 students’ caseload, ensuring students receive appropriate and effective services.
• Travel between assigned schools each day (itinerant), typically supporting 2–3 campuses daily.
• Document sessions, progress, and care in accordance with educational and therapeutic standards.
• Participate in relevant school meetings as needed, partnering with educational staff and families.
