Physical Therapist
We are seeking a full-time physical therapist to provide high-quality rehabilitative care within our skilled nursing facility. While this position is full-time, we encourage you to inquire if PRN or part-time opportunities better fit your schedule. We value work-life balance and are happy to explore options.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough PT evaluations and develop individualized treatment plans
- Deliver evidence-based therapeutic interventions to improve mobility, strength, and functional independence
- Document all patient care in accordance with state, federal, and facility guidelines
- Collaborate with nursing, therapy, and medical teams to ensure coordinated care
- Educate residents and family members on exercise programs, safety, and functional strategies
- Participate in care conferences and contribute to ongoing plan-of-care updates
Qualifications
- Valid New Mexico state license as a physical therapist (PT)
- Degree in physical therapy from an accredited program
- No experience with skilled nursing rehabilitation, supportive team to mentor and guide
- Strong communication skills and a passion for patient-centered care
