Materials Manager

This role manages the overall flow of materials in a manufacturing plant. The person will oversee purchasing, production planning, inventory control, and warehouse operations including shipping and receiving. Their main goal is to ensure the plant has the right materials at the right time, at the best price, while keeping inventory levels efficient. Key Responsibilities: Manage material flow in and out of the plant to ensure smooth production operations. Oversee purchasing, production planning, and inventory control to ensure materials are available when needed. Lead warehouse operations, including shipping, receiving, and stock control. Work with suppliers to manage pricing, delivery schedules, and resolve issues related to quality or supply. Monitor inventory levels and purchasing data to maintain optimal stock levels and improve efficiency. Key Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in business and 5 years of experience in purchasing and/or inventory control management in a manufacturing environment or any combination of experience, education and training which would provide the level of knowledge, skill and ability required. #J-18808-Ljbffr
