This Permanent Site Superintendent role involves overseeing all site activities, ensuring work is carried out according to plan, and maintaining the highest standards of safety and quality control on multifamily and commercial construction projects. Conduct regular site inspections to monitor progress and ensure compliance with plans, specifications, and safety regulations. Supervise and lead a diverse team of construction workers and subcontractors, fostering a positive and productive work environment. Develop and implement quality control programs, ensuring all work meets or exceeds the standards set by the company and industry regulations. Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications, providing guidance and clarification as needed. Coordinate with project managers, engineers, architects, and other stakeholders to resolve any issues or discrepancies that may arise during construction. Implement and enforce safety protocols, conducting regular safety meetings and ensuring all site personnel are trained in and adhere to safety regulations. Manage and maintain construction documentation, including daily logs, progress reports, and change orders. Qualifications Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Site Superintendent or similar role in the construction industry, with a strong emphasis on multifamily and commercial projects. Proven experience in site supervision, quality control, safety management, blueprint reading, and team leadership. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to lead and motivate a team. Strong problem-solving abilities and a keen attention to detail. Familiarity with construction software and proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite. Ability to read and interpret complex blueprints, drawings, and specifications. Solid understanding of construction processes, materials, and quality control practices. Extensive knowledge of safety protocols and regulations in the construction industry. Ability to work under pressure and adapt to changing circumstances. Certificate or degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field is preferred. Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation. Must be willing to travel as required. OSHA certification or equivalent safety training is highly desirable. Interested in hearing more?
