Job Responsibilities

• Perform thorough patient evaluations, including physical examinations and comprehensive reviews of their medical histories
• Assist in diagnosing surgical conditions through the analysis of imaging studies and laboratory results
• Work in tandem with surgeons to plan and implement customized surgical treatment approaches for patients
• Offer essential intraoperative support, which includes preparing the operating room, ensuring proper patient positioning, and effectively passing instruments during surgeries
• Provide outstanding pre- and post-operative care, involving medication administration, wound care, discharge preparation, and patient education

Requirements

• Master's degree from an accredited Physician Assistant program
• Completion of clinical rotations with a focus on surgery is strongly preferred

Certifications

• Hold a current and unrestricted PA-C certification
• BLS and ACLS certifications are mandatory
• Possess state licensure (or eligibility) as a Physician Assistant
