Systems Administrator Basic Qualifications: 1-2 years Linux/Windows System Administration skills Security+ Certification Knowledge and ability to work with third party products, as required Integration and test experience desired The ability to work independently in a lab environment Excellent interpersonal and teamwork skills Must be able to obtain & maintain a security clearance at the SECRET level or higher Desired skills: 1-2 years experience supporting UNIX based users on a LAN, including operating systems Experienced in the installation of COTS-based computer systems Experience solving end-user computer system problems and improving performance on the following platforms/operating systems: Solaris, Linux RedHat & RedHawk, Concurrent PowerMax, HP-UX and HP-RT Ability to install and evaluate COTS software products and tools Working knowledge of COTS software configuration management tools and processes is required Working knowledge of data communications and networking is required Experience working with customer/user representatives is required Experience working on AEGIS Computer Systems B/L 5-B/L9 AS&T is committed to providing a work environment that is free from unlawful discrimination and harassment in any form.
