This is an onsite position.As an Associate Electrical Engineer on our innovative team, you'll be deeply involved in the full spectrum of engineering activities – from initial research and design to seamless integration, rigorous testing, and insightful analysis. You'll focus on developing critical defensive cyber technologies, ensuring mission assurance, advancing command and control systems, and building resilient tactical networks. If you're an enthusiastic and proactive engineer who excels in collaborative, dynamic environments and is driven to make a tangible difference, we encourage you to apply!Responsibilities include but are not limited to:Design and develop electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and layouts using CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD, Altium)Select appropriate electrical components and materials based on project requirements and specificationsPerform circuit analysis, simulations, and calculations to ensure system performance and safetyDevelop and execute test plans and procedures to validate the functionality and reliability of electrical systemsTroubleshoot and resolve electrical issues during development, testing, and production phasesCollaborate effectively with mechanical, software, and other engineering disciplines to integrate electrical systemsDocument design specifications, test results, and other technical information accurately and comprehensivelyStay up-to-date with the latest industry standards, technologies, and best practicesParticipate in design reviews and provide constructive feedbackContribute to continuous improvement efforts for design processes and methodologiesPotentially mentor and provide guidance to junior engineers and techniciansMinimum Qualifications :Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field with 1+ years of electrical engineering design and development experience. High school diploma with 5+ years of relevant experience can be exchanged for a bachelor's degreeStrong understanding of fundamental electrical engineering principles, including circuit theory, power systems, and control systemsExperience with analog/digital circuit design, embedded systems, power electronics, instrumentation, communication protocolsFamiliarity with relevant industry standards and regulations (e.g., UL, IEC, IEEE)Preferred Qualifications:Master's degree in Electrical EngineeringProfessional Engineer (PE) licenseExperience supporting government programsProficiency in using electrical CAD software (e.g. AutoCAD Electrical, Fusion 360, SolidWorks Electrical, EPLAN Software, and ETAP).
