The ideal candidate will have extensive experience managing large-scale technical projects involving multiple teams, vendors, and workstreams within Agile and traditional project management environments. This position requires a hands-on Technical Project Manager who can effectively coordinate business and technical teams, manage project scope, budget, schedules, risks, and resources, and ensure successful project delivery while adhering to established project governance and SDLC methodologies. Key Responsibilities Lead the successful delivery of complex enterprise IT projects from initiation through project closeout. Manage all phases of the project lifecycle, including: Project Preselect Initiation Planning Execution & Control Closeout Serve as a hands-on Technical Project Manager working closely with development teams and business stakeholders. Coordinate project activities across multiple technical teams and workstreams. Develop and maintain project plans, schedules, budgets, risk registers, and status reports. Communicate project timelines, expectations, milestones, and deliverables to technical and business teams. Facilitate collaboration between business users, developers, architects, vendors, consultants, and contractors. Manage vendor relationships, contract activities, and procurement coordination. Ensure project compliance with organizational governance, PMO standards, and project management best practices. Define project metrics and provide regular executive-level status reporting. Coordinate requirements gathering, design workshops, and solution reviews. Ensure preparation of functional requirements, use cases, test plans, test cases, and testing activities. Manage project risks, issues, dependencies, and change requests. Support system implementation, user training, deployment, and post-production activities. Ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget. Required Qualifications Extensive experience managing large-scale enterprise IT projects. Active PMP (Project Management Professional) Certification is required. Experience working in Scaled Agile environments. Strong understanding of Agile, Scrum, and Waterfall project management methodologies. Experience managing multiple technical teams and concurrent workstreams. Strong experience with Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC). Experience managing project scope, schedules, budgets, risks, resources, and quality. Experience coordinating vendors, consultants, contractors, and cross-functional teams. Strong stakeholder management and executive communication skills. Experience facilitating requirements gathering sessions, design workshops, and project meetings. Experience overseeing project testing, implementation, deployment, and production support. Excellent analytical, organizational, leadership, and decision-making skills. Exceptional written, verbal, and presentation skills. Preferred Qualifications VITA Project Management Certification. Experience working within government or public sector environments. Experience working with enterprise Project Management Offices (PMO). Experience managing infrastructure, application development, or modernization projects. Familiarity with procurement and contract management processes. Experience leading enterprise digital transformation initiatives. Required Qualifications Minimum 10 years of experience managing large multi-stream IT projects valued at $10 million or more. Minimum 10 years of experience leading IT infrastructure delivery projects, including networking, physical infrastructure, vendor management, and site provisioning. Minimum 10 years of experience managing projects using both Scaled Agile (SAFe) and Waterfall project management methodologies. Active PMP (Project Management Professional) Certification is required. Minimum 10 years of experience using Microsoft Office products, including Word, Excel, Access, Outlook, Visio, PowerPoint, and Microsoft Project. Minimum 10 years of experience managing high-visibility, high-risk enterprise projects. Minimum 10 years of experience coordinating projects involving external vendors, consultants, and cross-functional teams. Minimum 10 years of experience managing projects within a PMO governance framework as part of a larger enterprise program. Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Systems Engineering, Management Information Systems, Project Management, or a related technical discipline.
