About The Role Our client is seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Accountant to join its team. This position plays a key role in the month-end close process while supporting general ledger accounting, reconciliations, cash management, reporting, and a variety of operational accounting functions. What You'll Do Prepare month-end journal entries, accruals, prepaid schedules, depreciation, and general ledger reconciliations Perform bank reconciliations and assist with treasury and cash management activities Prepare monthly sales and gross margin reporting Support accounts payable and accounts receivable as needed Review and resolve customer order issues with Sales and Accounting Assist with inventory reconciliations, cycle count approvals, and manufacturing variance analysis Review goods received accounts and resolve aging balances Assist with standard cost updates and operational accounting activities Support external audit preparation and month-end close activities Prepare ad hoc reports and financial analyses as assigned What You Bring Bachelor's degree in Accounting Approximately 5+ years of progressive accounting experience Strong experience with month-end close, journal entries, general ledger accounting, and account reconciliations Experience with bank reconciliations and financial reporting Manufacturing accounting experience is a plus SAP experience is preferred but not required Cost accounting experience is a plus, not required Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills Dependable, detail-oriented, and collaborative team player What\'s In It For You Excellent health benefits Generous PTO 401(k) with immediate 100% vesting Hybrid schedule after successful completion of training (work from home every Wednesday) Stable organization with long-term career growth potential Collaborative accounting team with supportive leadership #J-18808-Ljbffr ExecuSource
