Little Scholars Services is looking for a passionate and dedicated Speech Language Pathologist (CF Welcome to Apply) to join our growing team in Mission Viejo, CA! This is an exciting opportunity to make a meaningful impact in the lives of children by helping them find their voice and reach their full communication potential. If you're driven by purpose and love working with young learners, we want to hear from you! Responsibilities:
- Evaluate and assess children's speech, language, communication, and swallowing disorders
- Develop, Review, and implement individualized treatment plans (IFSPs) tailored to each child's needs
- Provide direct speech-language therapy services in a pediatric setting (in home or in clinic)
- Collaborate with parents, caregivers, educators, and multidisciplinary teams to support student progress
- Monitor, document, and report on patient progress and adjust treatment plans accordingly
- Conduct screenings and diagnostic evaluations using standardized assessment tools
- Provide parent and caregiver training and education on communication strategies
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Valid California licensure in Speech-Language Pathology (or eligibility to obtain)
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) from ASHA preferred
- Experience working with pediatric populations in a school, clinic, or therapy setting
- Knowledge of AAC (Augmentative and Alternative Communication) is a plus
- Strong interpersonal, organizational, and written communication skills
- Compassionate, patient, and child-centered approach to therapy
