CNC Machinist

This role involves setting up machines, interpreting blueprints, and using measuring tools to ensure parts meet tight tolerances. The ideal candidate brings extensive hands-on experience with mills and lathes and is comfortable working with modern CNC controls in a clean, climate-controlled manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities:

• Set up and operate a variety of CNC machines, including vertical and horizontal mills and lathes, to produce precision parts.
• Interpret and read blueprints, drawings, and specifications to determine machining requirements and ensure parts meet design standards.
• Perform machine setups, including selecting and installing tooling, workholding, and fixtures for CNC mills and lathes.
• Monitor machining operations and make adjustments to feeds, speeds, and tooling to maintain quality and productivity.
• Inspect finished parts for accuracy, surface finish, and conformance to specifications, and correct any deviations.

Work Environment:

The standard schedule includes approximately three weeks of training on day shift from 5:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., followed by transition to a second shift from 3:30 p.m. to 2:00 a.m., Monday through Thursday, with voluntary overtime opportunities on Friday. The facility emphasizes safety, cleanliness, and consistency, offering a stable production setting with clear processes and expectations.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Oklahoma City, OK.

Pay and Benefits:

The pay range for this position is $24.00 - $27.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
