Hawaii Works Inc Honolulu Hawaii Government & Commercial Concrete Work PAY SCHEDULE AND BENEFITS Base pay 6317 per hour Weekly pay Medical and dental benefits Vacation sick leave and holiday benefits Retirement plan Company vehicle for authorized business use Profit sharing opportunities Quarterly performance incentives based on defined results Internal advancement opportunities Primarily Monday through Friday Typical daytime schedule 700 am 330 pm depending on the project Early starts nights weekends and extended hours required on certain projects including highway closures Overtime paid in accordance with applicable federal and state law You know how to lead a concrete crew prepare for successful placements solve field problems and deliver safe quality work If you feel underappreciated unsupported or limited in your current position Hawaii Works offers excellent pay clear responsibilities leadership support challenging projects and an opportunity to grow into a Superintendent position We are looking for an experienced Concrete Foreman who wants to help build a high performing crew and one of Hawaiis strongest construction companies HELP US BUILD THE NEXT HAWAII WORKS TEAM Hawaii Works is growing and strengthening its project delivery team with clearer roles better planning stronger field leadership and higher performance standards Hawaii Works is in an active growth and improvement phase We want a Foreman who will help develop the crew improve field execution solve problems and build a company where high performers can grow We hire develop and promote people who are Humble Team Oriented Accountable and Solution Driven WHAT YOU WILL OWN Directing daily concrete crew activities Communicating the daily plan and pour plan Achieving assigned production targets Verifying forms rebar embeds blockouts and pour readiness Ensuring work follows plans specifications and finish requirements Maintaining safety quality and jobsite organization Tracking production quantities and concrete yardage Submitting accurate daily reports and timecards Reporting field problems early Preventing avoidable rework waste and downtime Training and developing Leadmen and crew members Holding the crew accountable while treating people with respect CLEAR OWNERSHIP The Project Manager owns contracts finances change orders and owner communication The Superintendent owns field planning overall schedule execution manpower equipment materials and major coordination The Foreman owns the crew daily execution safety quality reporting and production THE WORK Structural and cast in place concrete Footings walls columns decks and slabs Sidewalks driveways curbs gutters and hardscape Formwork shoring and reinforcing steel Concrete demolition and replacement Spall and structural concrete repairs Bridge deck and expansion joint work Roadway and infrastructure improvements Government and commercial projects QUALIFICATIONS At least three years leading concrete crews as a Foreman Working Foreman Leadman or equivalent Strong knowledge of formwork reinforcing placement finishing and curing Ability to read plans specifications and structural drawings Ability to organize crews and track production Strong safety awareness and communication skills OSHA 30 certification or ability to complete company paid training within 60 days Valid drivers license with an acceptable driving record Availability for scheduled night weekend and extended hour assignments #J-18808-Ljbffr HTM Contractors
