Job Description And Duties Under the supervision of the Public Rights Division (PRD) Supervisor I, the Analyst I provides a range of complex and varied analytical and procurement duties of the Executive Unit. Duties include, but are not limited to, serving as the Division’s primary statewide property controller, and as the procurement analyst for both IT and non-IT expenditures statewide. The Analyst I will also handle associated functions such as ergonomic evaluations and wireless device administration, and will provide recommendations to management on a variety of administrative functions. The Analyst I takes initiative to problem‑solve, possesses a great deal of tact, and has the ability to elicit information and cooperation from division and Department personnel at varying levels of authority. Functions of this role are interrelated and pertain to the fiscal, onboarding, and procurement needs of the unit, where the Analyst I will also interpret and apply related statutes, regulations, policies and procedures. Salary Ranges Range A: This Range shall apply to those individuals who do not meet the criteria for Range B or Range C. Range B: This range shall apply to persons who have satisfactorily completed the equivalent to six months of Analyst I (Range A) or Management Services Technician (Range B), and may apply to persons who have the equivalent of six months of satisfactory experience outside of State service performing analytical duties similar to those of an Analyst I. Range C: This range shall apply to persons who have graduated from a recognized four‑year accredited college or university; or who satisfactorily completed the equivalent of 12 months of Analyst I (Range B) experience; and may apply to persons who have the equivalent of 18 months of satisfactory experience outside the State service performing analytical duties similar to those of Analyst I.
