DEPARTMENT OF EDUCATIONAL LEADERSHIP

POSITION AVAILABLE : One or more temporary, part-time lecturers for a pool from which instructors will be considered for appointments as they become available for Fall Semester 202 6 and/or Spring Semester 202 7 . DUTIES OF THE POSITION : The Department of Educational Leadership may seek temporary, part-time lecturers to teach courses in school law, school finance, and supervision and staff development in schools. In addition, the department seeks part-time lecturers to supervise students in fieldwork sites. Please note that teaching assignments at California State University, East Bay include courses at the Hayward campus, Concord Center, and/or online. The policy andexpectationof the California State University is that all faculty members will perform all of their duties within the state of California. RANK AND SALARY : Salary is dependent upon educational preparation and experience. Please be advised that an appointment is contingent upon budget and enrollment considerations and subject to order of assignment provisions. The salary ranges for the Lecturer-Academic Year classification are listed below: The anticipated hiring range is generally at or near the minimum of the appropriate range , commensurate with education and experience.

Fall Semester Start & End dates: 08/1 7 /2 6 – 12/ 18 /2 6 Spring Semester Start & End dates: 01/ 19 /2 7 – 05/2 1 /2 7 QUALIFICATIONS : Candidates must have a Master’s degree and relevant professional experience.
