iSmash Addison is a brand-new entertainment experience in the Addison/Farmers Branch area featuring smash rooms, splatter paint, axe throwing, parties, and group events.

We're looking for an energetic, responsible, hands-on  General Manager to help launch the location and lead the day-to-day operation.

This isn't a sit-behind-a-desk management job.

You'll be the person who makes sure the team is ready, the guests are happy, the facility is running smoothly, and the entire experience feels amazing from the moment someone walks through the door.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

As General Manager, you will oversee the staffing and day-to-day operation of the facility, including:

• Hire, train, schedule, coach, and manage employees
• Lead the team and establish a positive, energetic workplace culture
• Oversee daily sales and operations
• Make sure guests receive exceptional customer service
• Serve as the primary point of contact for business-to-business relationships
• Build and maintain relationships with local businesses and organizations
• Order and purchase consumables and operational supplies
• Monitor inventory and supplies
• Coordinate supply pickups and deliveries
• Be present during most busy weekend days and large events
• Help manage birthday parties, corporate events, and group experiences
• Handle serious customer complaints and resolve guest issues professionally
• Address minor facility issues, repairs, and damage
• Make sure rooms and common areas are clean, safe, organized, and ready for guests
• Ensure employees follow all safety procedures and company policies
• Jump in wherever needed during busy periods
• Handle other operational responsibilities that do not specifically require the owner's attention

REQUIREMENTS   Required:

• At least 3 years of retail, hospitality, entertainment, restaurant, or similar management experience
• Experience directly supervising employees
• General Manager experience
• Strong customer service and people skills
• Ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends
• Ability to reliably commute to the Farmers Branch/Addison area

Strongly preferred:

• Entertainment venue Manager experience
• Entertainment venue experience
• Experience managing a high-volume customer-facing business
• Experience with hiring and training employees
• Experience with inventory, scheduling, and purchasing
• Experience with corporate/group events
• B2B relationship or sales experience
