As a Mammography Technologist, you will: - Perform mammography examinations in compliance with ACR requirements. - Assist with breast ultrasound, stereotactic biopsy, breast localization, and other radiologic-guided procedures. - Deliver exceptional care while conducting diagnostic and screening mammographic examinations for adult, adolescent, and geriatric patients. - Execute mammographic imaging for breast needle localization and stereotactic procedures, from setup to cleanup. - Provide expert assistance in procedures utilizing ultrasound guidance. - Ensure accurate patient identification on films, marking them correctly and documenting all necessary information. - Develop exposed x-ray film using established processing methods. - Complete patient requisitions with accuracy, including technologist initials, date, number, and film size. - Actively participate in quality control procedures, documenting critical tests and analyses to maintain high standards. - Educate patients through Breast Self-Exam (BSE) instruction and provide pre- and post-procedure guidance. - Prepare imaging cases, including charts and films for accurate tracking and follow-up. - Keep account of relevant statistics regarding patient follow-ups, breast localizations, and ultrasound procedures. - Ensure compliance with ACR, MQSA, NJ State, and FDA regulations regarding quality assurance in mammography. - Engage with patients, adapting communication to meet their individual needs based on age, culture, and other factors. - Complete any additional duties and projects as assigned. - Uphold HMH Organizational competencies and standards of behavior. **Why Catalytic Solutions (CatSol):** At CatSol, we connect dedicated therapists with rewarding assignments across the country.
