The successful candidate will provide comprehensive patient care in both inpatient and outpatient settings, focusing on minimally invasive, image-guided procedures.Conduct comprehensive patient assessments including history taking, physical examinations, and review of imaging studiesPerform pre-procedural evaluations and obtain informed consent for interventional radiology proceduresProvide post-procedural care and monitoring in recovery areasManage patient care during interventional procedures under physician supervisionDevelop and implement treatment plans in collaboration with the interventional radiology teamProvide patient and family education regarding procedures, risks, benefits, and post-procedure careAssist with minimally invasive procedures including but not limited to:Perform minor procedures independently as permitted by state regulations and institutional protocolsMaintain sterile technique and radiation safety protocolsAbout the FacilityAscension Saint Thomas River Park Hospital serves a service area of approximately 80,000 peopleIntegrated referral networkPart of Ascension, a national nonprofit Catholic health systemWhy Providers Choose AscensionPhysician-led, collaborative cultureLong-term practice stabilityNational network with local autonomyMission-centered care rooted in serviceWhat You Will NeedLicensure / Certification / Registration:BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.Physician Assistant credentialed from the Tennessee Committee on Physicians Assistants obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required.Education:Graduate of accredited Physician Assistant program.
