About the Role
The Company is seeking an SVP for Private Equity Credit Risk. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading credit assessments of both new and existing counterparties, with a focus on private equity and alternative investment funds. This includes evaluating client financial performance, developing a forward-looking view of credit and risk characteristics, and defining credit limits in line with portfolio strategy. The role also involves contributing to the structuring and negotiation of credit terms, as well as conducting ongoing monitoring of client performance and portfolio trends. Applicants must have a bachelor's degree in a relevant field or equivalent professional experience, with 7-10 years in a credit risk role supporting investment funds. A strong ability to analyze financial statements, a broad understanding of global financial markets and fund structures, and a working knowledge of AI concepts as they apply to risk assessment are essential. The role requires a proven ability to work collaboratively across various teams, clear communication skills, and sound professional judgment. The SVP will also be expected to provide independent reviews, support portfolio management, and prepare senior-level presentations.
