Litigation Attorney

The Position:

A prominent national law firm is seeking a Litigation Associate to join its Cleveland office. This is an opportunity to work on a broad range of complex commercial disputes, representing businesses, financial institutions, and other clients in high-stakes litigation matters across state and federal courts.

Associates will be involved in all phases of litigation, including case strategy, legal research, drafting motions and briefs, discovery, depositions, hearings, and trial preparation. The role offers substantial responsibility, direct client interaction, and the opportunity to develop advocacy skills while working alongside experienced litigators on sophisticated matters.

Requirements:

• J.D. from an accredited law school and admission to the Ohio Bar (or eligibility to obtain admission).
• 2–6+ years of litigation experience at a law firm or comparable legal environment.
• Experience handling complex commercial litigation, business disputes, financial services litigation, or related matters is preferred.
• Strong legal research, writing, and analytical skills.
• Experience drafting motions, briefs, discovery requests, and other litigation-related documents.
