2nd shift-Spray Booth Operator

Job Description Position Title: Spray Booth Operator Wage: $26.84/hour Shift: 2nd Hours: 2:45pm-10:45pm Monday-Friday QPS Employment Group is hiring a Spray Booth Operator for a company in Wentzville, MO. This is a 2nd shift position with the opportunity for hire. Spray Booth Operator Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Prepare, prime, sand, seal, patch, clean, and paint truck beds, surfaces, utilizing all types of painting materials such as primers, polyurethanes, lacquer thinner finishes
• Tape, sand, repair, and apply texturing layers on a variety of surfaces
• Clear understanding of how to operate, clean, and maintain all painting equipment, including brush, sprayers, robotic spray guns, and pumps, etc.
• Safely store and label all materials; keep records and submit reports of work
• Erect scaffolding, rigging, and ladders as necessary in a manner consistent with safety codes
• Read, understand, and communicate clearly work instructions
• Understand acceptable spray patters, clogged mix chambers and tips
• Understand tolerances of spray equipment and bed liner build tolerances
• Spray bed liner using manual application equipment in the event of robotic failures, or repairs
• Other duties may be assigned

Spray Booth Operator Requirements:

• Familiar with TS and ISO requirements
• Knowledge of Robots and Robot programming a definite asset
• Minimum high school diploma or equivalent
• Blueprint reading knowledge
• Demonstrate computer skills
• Must meet the standards of the current position
• Must possess and maintain an appropriate and valid driver's license
