As a Respiratory Therapist Pulmonary Rehab Specialist, you will play a vital role in our Pulmonary Rehabilitation program, providing specialized therapy to patients with respiratory conditions. Responsibilities Conduct thorough initial evaluations and assessments of patients with respiratory conditions, including COPD, asthma, and other chronic lung diseases Develop and implement individualized pulmonary rehabilitation plans, including exercise programs, education, and lifestyle modifications Provide respiratory therapy treatments, including aerosol therapy, medications, and oxygen therapy as ordered by physicians Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care Monitor and track patient progress, adjusting therapy plans as needed to achieve optimal outcomes Educate patients and their families on respiratory conditions, treatment options, and self-care techniques Maintain accurate and detailed records of patient care, treatments, and outcomes Requirements Current Respiratory Therapist licensure in the state of Michigan Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Respiratory Therapy or related field Strong knowledge of respiratory therapy principles, techniques, and best practices Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment Why Join Our Team At Carriage House Nursing and Rehab, we are dedicated to providing personalized care and attention to our patients.
