Senior Information Systems Analyst

: GEICO Corporate is hiring a Senior Information Systems Analyst I to act as a systems analyst and project leader within the Treasurers department. The ideal candidate possesses strong data / analytical skills and solid knowledge of core treasury business processes of Accounts Payable, Investments, Liquidity, Cash Management, and Accounts Receivable; understands how each business process fits into the overall picture of Treasury operations.

• This is a hybrid position. Candidate will work hybrid at the Chevy Chase, MD location.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Conducts reviews and analysis of proposed new or modified systems/business processes
• Gathers and models requirements to resolve user and operational problems
• Analyzes system logic and revises documentation and procedures as necessary
• Designs and develops comprehensive execution plans for process improvements. Coordinates implementation of treasury related projects, including user training and procedures
• Coordinates and expedites an effective response to users' queries and problems
• Provides timely and informative reports on project activities.
• Analyzes existing business processes to streamline by creating efficiencies and a well-controlled process.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:

• Bachelor degree in Technology, Scientific, or Computer Science fields is a plus
• 2 - 5 years of experience performing System Administration duties, ideally in a technical field
• At least 2 years of experience with Excel or other data visualization tools (i.e. Tableau, PowerBI,
• At least 2 years of experience with SQL and writing queries
• At least 2 years of troubleshooting and analysis experience
• Treasury/banking related business process knowledge
