Become a vital part of a hospital radiology team in Myrtle Beach, SC as an experienced Computed Tomography Technologist. You will interpret physician scanning instructions, administer contrast materials, and operate CT equipment for emergency department and inpatient studies. The role requires performance of routine and trauma-related CT exams with attention to compassionate patient care.

Minimum Requirements:

• At least 1 year experience in a level 1 trauma setting.
• Ability to operate GE CT equipment (GE 512, GE 128, GE 32 slice) independently.
• ARRT Radiography certification required; CT certification preferred.
• BLS certification.
• Experience performing routine CT exams for ED and inpatient populations, including trauma pan scans, head, neck, chest, abdomen, pelvis, extremities, and CTA.
• Experience with Meditech documentation system preferred.

Preferred Qualifications

• Prior experience in a high-volume CT unit (approximately 180 CT exams per day across multiple scanners) preferred.
• Familiarity with ACR-accredited CT operations preferred.

Assignment Details

• Shift hours: 1900 - 0700.
• Patient focus: Emergency department and inpatient only.
• Unit equipment: GE 512, GE 128, GE 32 slice CT scanners.

As a clinician on this assignment you will provide essential imaging services that support emergent and inpatient diagnosis and treatment. The role contributes directly to patient outcomes in a Joint Commission accredited facility with ACR accreditation for CT.
