You'll be operating forklifts and heavy equipment to handle oversized pipe, maintaining accurate inventory records, and assisting with assembly operations as part of our shipping team.What You'll DoSafely move, position, store, and transfer large diameter pipe up to 60" using forklifts and other material handling equipment, using proper rigging, lifting, and securement methods to prevent damage to pipe and coatingsLoad and unload trucks carrying pipe and other materials, and transfer material between locations within the facility, including outdoorsPick, inspect, pack, and prepare materials and products for shipment or transfer, accounting for all materials and following shipping and process control proceduresFollow all safety procedures and wear prescribed PPE, report unsafe acts or conditions immediately, and maintain awareness of load capacities and clearances when moving oversized pipeMaintain a neat, organized work area, including pipe storage areas, ensuring tools and materials are properly stored and waste is removedActively participate in initiatives to improve workplace efficiency, eliminate waste, and improve qualityPerform other duties as assignedWhat You NeedAbility to lift 45 pounds and perform tasks requiring both fine and gross motor skillsAbility to safely handle and maneuver large diameter pipe using appropriate equipmentUnderstanding and application of workplace safety procedures, particularly for heavy load handling and crane/rigging operationsExcellent verbal and written communication skillsAbility to use manual and electronic inventory systemsNice To Have3-4 years of experience moving large diameter pipe (36" to 60")Forklift certification and demonstrated proficiency operating high-capacity forklifts and material handling equipment for oversized loadsKnowledge of proper rigging techniques and load calculations for large pipeWhat We OfferCompetitive hourly pay with shift differentials and overtime opportunitiesHealth, dental, and vision coverageRetirement savings plan with company matchPaid time off and holidaysCareer growth—we promote from withinTuition reimbursement and skills trainingCompensationThe hourly pay range for this position is $21-24 per hour. Actual pay will be determined based on experience, qualifications, and geographic location.
