About the Cardiac Telemetry Unit The Cardiac Telemetry unit focuses on heart care, offering an environment for growth and professional development. Responsibilities Apply the nursing process, critical thinking, scientific judgment, and leadership to independently deliver safe nursing care. Collaborate with the patient care team to achieve quality patient outcomes. Communicate confidently and professionally; actively engage in unit and organizational activities. Demonstrate teamwork, adaptability, and serve as a resource to the patient care team. Take accountability for delivering quality nursing care services and promoting a positive image of nursing. Qualifications Graduated from an accredited diploma, associate’s, or baccalaureate RN program. Minimum six (6) months of clinical experience as a licensed Registered Nurse. Current Registered Nurse License in Texas or a Multi‑State Compact License (must obtain Texas RN license within 90 days of hire). Current American Heart Association BLS Certification.
