Fashion meets innovation in the design of our two state-of-the-art facilities based in the heart of Austin, Texas, and overflows into the design of our growing retail environment across the country.  Position Overview  The Senior Integrations Engineer is part of the Enterprise Applications IT team that supports a broad portfolio of enterprise-wide applications and integrations. The Senior Integrations Engineer will be an expert in Boomi integration development and architecture and will play a crucial role in designing, developing, and implementing seamless integrations between our software solutions and various third-party systems. This role requires strong technical skills, a deep understanding of integration patterns, and the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams. This role will ensure integration designs are stable, reliable, and scalable from an Information Technology systems perspective. The role is responsible for maintaining the health of all integration processes, and Boomi infrastructure to ensure optimal performance and availability while also monitoring, troubleshooting, and resolving issues promptly, contributing to a seamless user experience and the overall success of our technology solutions.Responsibilities:Design integration solutions that align with business needs, considering scalability, performance, and maintainabilityDaily operational system support and issue managementParticipating in projects throughout all phases of the SDLCIdentify and troubleshoot complex integration issues and implement solutionsCreate and maintain technical documentationTroubleshoot and resolve issues with existing Boomi jobs in PROD environmentCommunicate effectively with cross-functional teamsOffering guidance and mentorship to other team membersCoordination with offshoreDesign and architect integration solutions that enable data and functionality exchange between our cloud and on-premise applications, including APIs, databases, and other software platformsCollaborate with cross-functional teams, business analysts, solution architects and stakeholders, to gather requirements, provide updates, and deliver high-quality integration solutionsLead the end-to-end development of integration solutions using Boomi, support SDLC during the design process, gathering and documenting business requirements, technical requirements, data mapping, plan and execute regression, integration testing, cutover, go-live and post go-live activitiesIdentify potential challenges or bottlenecks in integration processes and provide innovative solutions to address themIndependently manage small-medium application enhancement projects through SDLCCreate and maintain technical documentation for integration solutions, including integration architecture diagrams, process flows, design specifications, and integration workflowsParticipate in code reviews to ensure adherence to coding standards, best practices, and quality guidelinesTroubleshoot and resolve complex integration issues, collaborating with cross-functional teams to identify root causes and implement solutionsStay up to date with the latest trends and advancements in integration technologies and evaluate their potential impact on existing and future integration projectsMentor and guide junior developers, sharing your knowledge and expertise to enhance the team's capabilitiesMonitor and maintain the health of production systems, applications, and infrastructure to ensure optimal performance and availabilityRespond to incidents and alerts in a timely manner, diagnose issues, and implement corrective actions to minimize downtime and impact on usersActively seek opportunities to improve integration processes, automate tasks, and enhance overall efficiency. Strive to optimize and streamline integration workflowsOur Ideal Candidate Will Have:Bachelor's or higher degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related fieldProven experience (5+ years) working as an Integration Engineer or similar role, with a track record of successful integration projectsProficiency in working with integration tools and frameworks such as Boomi, Matillion, MuleSoft, or similar.Boomi Developer or Architect Certification is highly preferredExperience with Boomi connectors like sFTP, Client, Command Shape, DB V1, DB V2, etc.In-depth understanding of API design and development, including RESTful and SOAP protocolsExperience with Event streamingFamiliarity with different data formats, such as JSON, XML, and CSV, and experience with data transformation techniquesSolid knowledge of authentication and authorization mechanisms, security protocols, and data privacy considerations in integration projectsStrong proficiency in programming languages such as Java, Python, or similar, and experience with scripting languages for automationProficiency in working with different databases (SQL, NoSQL) and cloud data warehousing solutions such as SnowflakeExperience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP) and containerization technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes) is desirableExcellent problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex integration issues effectivelyStrong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional, on and off-shore teams.
