HealthTrust Workforce Solutions HCA is seeking a travel nurse RN Med Surg for a travel nursing job in Denver, Colorado.

Job Description & Requirements

• 36 hours per week
• Shift: 12 hours, nights
• Employment Type: Travel

7A-7P or 7P-7A

• Number of Beds – 18-20
• Number of Staff – 35
• Type of staff:
  • Day Shift – 1 charge, 2-3 nurses, 1 LPN, 1-3 PCTs
  • Night Shift – 1 charge, 3 nurses, 1 LPN, 1-2 PCTs
• Patient Ratios – 6:1 with LPN
• Type of equipment – Hoyer, air taps, wound vacs, PCA
• EMR - Meditech

Must have : candidates without these skills will not be considered for the role.

• Minimum 1-year acute care hospital Med/Surg experience
• BLS

Preferred or nice to have : candidates with these skills will be considered first.

• Burn Care experience
• Wound Care, Ostomy Care experience
• ACLS

List typical procedures performed on unit(s):   

• Wound and dressing care on post-op burn and flap patients
