Registered Nurse (RN) - L&D

Registered Nurse – Women's Care Unit

Schedule: Nights, 12-hour shifts, 36 hours per week

Assignment Details:

• Contract Length: 9 weeks
• Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours per week

Requirements:

• Valid RN License
• Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS)
• Experience in Women's Health or related nursing field

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients throughout their childbearing years and for infants up to 28 days of life.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate patient care.
• Administer medications and IV fluids according to established protocols.
• Assess patients based on age-specific needs and develop individual care plans.
• Document patient assessments, interventions, and responses accurately in clinical records.
• Lead and delegate tasks to nursing team members under supervision.

Compliance / Notes:

• Adhere to all regulatory standards and competencies as required by healthcare governing bodies.
• Maintain a clean and safe patient care environment.
