## Cardiac SonographerApplylocations: SKH Skokie Ambulatory Care Centertime type: Full timeposted on: Posted Todayjob requisition id: R43558**Hourly Pay Range:**$33.35 - $51.69 - The hourly pay rate offered is determined by a candidate's expertise and years of experience, among other factors.**Position Highlights:*** **Sign-On Bonus: $1000 New Grad & $15,000 w 1 yr plus (parameters apply)*** Position: Cardiac Sonographer* Location: Skokie* Full Time, 40 hours per week**What you will need:*** Education: + High School Diploma or GED* Certifications: + Graduate of an accredited Cardiac Sonography or Echo School Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer (RDCS) from American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) or Registered Cardiac Sonographer (RCS) from Cardiovascular Credentialing International (CCI) within twelve months of position start date. + Current CPR Certification issued by either American Heart Association or Red Cross**What you will do:**Under general supervision, obtains two-dimensional ultrasonic images of the heart including 2D echocardiograms, 2D Doppler echocardiograms, and stress echocardiograms and assists physicians in conducting transesophageal echocardiograms. In doing so, obtains pertinent patient data for interpretation by a board certified cardiologist, explains purpose and duration of testing to the patient in order to allay fears, and provides excellent customer service.
