Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Nights | 3x12-Hour Shifts (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM; occasional 3:00 PM – 3:00 AM as needed) | Every other weekend and holiday coverage required | No call

Key Responsibilities

• Provide emergency nursing care to patients of all ages, including cancer, sepsis, medical emergencies, and behavioral health populations
• Deliver care within a facility that includes a cath lab, women's health services, and a designated stroke care program
• Respond to and manage STEMI and stroke cases in alignment with facility protocols
• Participate in new employee orientation modules as required by the unit
• Float to other campus locations within the health system as needed

Required Qualifications

• Active, unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) license – must be in hand at time of submission
• Minimum 2 years of RN experience required
• Current BLS, ACLS, NIHSS, and PALS certifications required
• EPIC electronic health record experience required
• STEMI and Stroke facility experience required
• Must reside more than 50 miles from the facility (no local candidates accepted); current driver's license required to confirm address

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience caring for diverse patient populations including oncology, sepsis, and behavioral health
• Familiarity with cath lab or women's health support workflows in an emergency setting
