Key Responsibilities Perform complex automated and manual laboratory testing across various departments Analyze, verify, and report patient results accurately and within established turnaround times Conduct quality control, quality assurance, and proficiency testing activities Troubleshoot instrumentation, testing methodologies, and technical issues independently Perform equipment maintenance, calibration, and routine performance checksEnsure compliance with regulatory requirements and laboratory standards Collaborate with physicians, nurses, pharmacists, and laboratory personnel to support patient care Maintain accurate laboratory documentation and patient records Participate in process improvement initiatives and daily laboratory operations Help uphold the highest standards of laboratory quality, efficiency, and patient safety Required Credentials Qualifications We're Looking For Active California Clinical Laboratory Scientist (CLS) License Bachelor's Degree in Clinical Laboratory Science, Medical Technology, Biology, Chemistry, or related field Current BLS Certification Technical Experience Experience performing testing in at least two or more of the following areas: Chemistry (Abbott Alinity) Hematology (Sysmex XN-3100) Coagulation (Stago STA-R MAX) Urinalysis (Sysmex UN Series) Blood Bank (Ortho Vision SWIFT) Additional Skills Strong knowledge of Quality Control (QC), Quality Assurance (QA), and laboratory regulatory standards Ability to troubleshoot instruments and resolve technical issues independently Excellent communication and teamwork skills Strong attention to detail and organizational abilities Reliable attendance and flexibility to support departmental scheduling needs This isn't a routine laboratory role.
