For more information, please visit Position Overview Our Grain Operations Supervisor role is responsible for overseeing daily grain facility operations, ensuring safe, efficient, and reliable performance through equipment maintenance, housekeeping, inventory management, and grain quality control. The position leads and develops a team of grain workers, setting priorities, coordinating workflows, and driving employee performance and engagement. Responsibilities also include managing safety programs, conducting investigations, monitoring budgets, and supporting capital planning to meet operational and financial objectives. Our Grain Operations Supervisors optimize grain handling, drying, blending, and storage processes while maintaining compliance with industry standards and minimizing grain shrink. This role is ideal for a hands-on agricultural operations leader who enjoys developing teams, improving processes, and balancing operational, safety, and financial performance in a grain handling environment. What is expected of you and others at this level Coordinates and supervises the daily activities of business or technical support or production team Sets priorities for the team to ensure task completion; coordinates work activities with other supervisors Decisions are guided by policies, procedures and business plan, receives guidance and oversight from manager Typically, does not spend more than 20% of time performing the work supervised Competencies Expected Of You And Others At This Level Manages Conflict - Handling conflict situations effectively and with a minimum of noise Communicates Effectively - Develop and deliver multi-mode communications that convey a clear understanding of the unique needs of different audiences Decision Quality - Making good and timely decisions that keep the organization moving forward Directs Work - Providing direction, delegating and removing obstacles to get work done Resourcefulness - Securing and deploying resources effectively and efficiently Demonstrates Self-Awareness - Using a combination of feedback and reflection to gain productive insight into personal strengths and weaknesses Minimum Qualifications & Skills Bachelor’s Degree strongly preferred.
