Certified Medical AssistantThe Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) performs a variety of clinical and clerical duties under the direct supervision of a physician. Responsibilities include assisting with patient care by rooming patients, obtaining vital signs, documenting the reason for the visit, assisting with procedures and in-office testing, scheduling appointments, completing pre-certifications and referrals, maintaining a clean and organized environment, and ordering supplies.
