Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Follow all manufacturing procedures per GMP and FDA requirements. Responsible for maintaining a constant flow of production consistent with established production and quality standards. Prepare packaging materials in order to fill, seal, and palletize various packages according to manufacturing order. Ensure that product is being filled in appropriate pre-labeled containers. Monitor the appearance and fill levels of the materials being packaged. Monitor the operation of the equipment being utilized. Properly write up production tags with the amount of packaged product and accurately report on batch ticket. May be required to assist with unloading of empty drum trailers and other warehousing functions. Maintain a clean and neat appearance of the immediate work area. Follow all safety instructions and procedures. While performing the duties of this job, the employee occasionally works with regulated hazardous chemical products and is exposed to dust, odors, and fumes. The employee may be occasionally required to work in hot and humid and / or cold conditions. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate to loud. The typical base pay range for this position at the start of employment is expected to be between $17 - $20 per hour. GEA Group has different base pay ranges for different work locations within the United States. The pay range is not a guarantee of compensation or salary. The estimated range is the budgeted amount for the position. Final offers are based on various factors, including skill set, experience, location, qualifications, and other job-related reasons. You may be eligible for additional rewards, such as discretionary bonus (based on eligibility) and/or equity awards.
