We are looking for a skilled Full Charge Bookkeeper to support daily financial operations and help keep accounting processes accurate, organized, and on schedule in Spokane Valley, Washington. This role is well suited for someone who enjoys managing a broad range of bookkeeping duties, from transaction processing to reporting, while also contributing to related administrative tasks. The ideal candidate brings strong accounting knowledge, sound judgment, and the ability to handle sensitive financial and employee information with discretion.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee routine bookkeeping activities by recording transactions, monitoring account activity, and keeping financial records complete and current.

• Handle incoming and outgoing payments, including invoice processing, cash applications, deposits, and vendor disbursements.

• Reconcile bank statements, general ledger accounts, and other financial records to resolve variances promptly and accurately.

• Maintain fixed asset records and update depreciation schedules to support month-end and year-end reporting needs.

• Prepare required sales tax filings and assist with periodic accounting close activities and financial documentation.

• Create and update spreadsheets, reports, and tracking tools in Microsoft Excel to support analysis and decision-making.

• Provide payroll and multi-state payroll support as needed, ensuring records are organized and deadlines are met.

• Assist with employee onboarding documentation, personnel files, and other human resources administrative tasks while protecting confidential information.

• Prior experience in full charge bookkeeping or accounting with practical knowledge of accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger functions.

• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including the ability to work with formulas, organize data, and build accurate financial spreadsheets.

• Experience performing bank reconciliations and reviewing records for discrepancies and corrections.

• Familiarity with depreciation tracking, sales tax reporting, and standard month-end accounting procedures.

• Ability to manage multiple responsibilities independently while maintaining a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.

• Background in payroll administration, including multi-state payroll, is preferred.
