Job DescriptionJob DescriptionDescriptionAdvancedPCB is seeking a reliable, motivated Waste Treatment Operator has the responsibility of operating the waste treatment system under routine conditions.Essential Job Function:Operate all waste treatment equipment.Complete quality checksPerform preventative maintenance and make minor repairs.Report improper operation, faulty equipment, defective materials, and unusual conditions to supervisor.Wear personal protective equipment required by the job.Monitor effluent by sampling.Keep accurate records of daily incoming water consumption.Maintain a safe, neat, and orderly work area.Complete all internal departmental documentation accurately.Perform additional ad hoc projects as assignedWork overtime as assignedWork Schedule:This is a full-time position requiring available to work during standard business hours and mandatory weekend overtime when needed to meet production goals. Shifts may include weekends when schedule details are provided in advance.Work schedule is Sunday PM through Friday AM, 10:30 pm to 7:00 am.RequirementsEssential Qualifications, Education and Experience:High school education or equivalent.1 year experience working with process chemicals.Preferred Additional Skills:Beginner to Intermediate mechanical aptitude.Ability to read, write, and communicate in English.Bi-lingual English/Spanish is a plus.Physical Requirements:Ability to stand 8-12 hoursAbility to lift 50 poundsAbility to walk on uneven surfacesAbility to climb up and down stairsUse of gross and fine motor skillsCompensation/Benefits:California Pay Range: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour USD | DOEThe actual compensation offered is based on a wide array of factors unique to each candidate, including but not limited to skill set, years and depth of experience, certifications, and other relevant business considerations.Advanced PCB offers a variety of health and benefit programs.
