Must be able to work independently without supervision and have excellent problem-solving skills.Responsibilities:Perform mammograms and quality control procedures.Ensure proper functioning of mammography equipment and address any malfunctions.Maintain meticulous attention to detail during all procedures.Communicate with radiologists regarding mammogramsApply analytical skills to interpret mammographic images, assess quality, and verify patient information.Accurately complete all patient information requirements and necessary paperwork.Complete administrative tasks to ensure timely exam interpretation.Complete necessary medical records, including consents, billing, and supply monitoring.Ensure timely delivery of mammography results, escalating to management or a radiologist when results exceed standard turnaround times.Support the manager in maintaining MQSA and ACR requirements.Adhere to and maintain continuing education requirements mandated by MQSA.Qualifications:Associate's degree or completion of an accredited Radiologic Sciences Program.ARRT Registration R.T.(R) Required.ARRT Certification in Mammography (M) Required.State Department of Radiation Control License (if applicable).Maintain registry status and continuing education.Minimum two years of mammography experience
