Registered Nurse - Emergency Room

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Nights | 12-Hour Shifts (7:00 PM – 7:30 AM) | Every Other Weekend Required

Key Responsibilities

• Provide emergency room nursing care during 12-hour night shifts
• Perform telemetry monitoring and interpretation as part of patient care
• Float to a secondary facility location when operationally necessary
• Participate in biweekly orientation as required during onboarding
• Complete a telemetry competency test on the first day of assignment (pass/fail)

Required Qualifications

• Active Massachusetts Registered Nurse license required at time of submission
• Minimum 2 years of telemetry experience required
• Minimum 1 year of prior travel nursing experience required
• Current ACLS and BLS certifications through the American Heart Association required
• TNCC certification required
• Flu vaccine required during onboarding; declinations are not accepted
• Candidates must have a minimum 6-month separation from this facility (permanent, per diem, or contract) prior to consideration

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Familiarity with telemetry study materials and competency testing protocols
• Experience floating between multiple units or facilities in a travel capacity
