Graduate Civil Engineer II - Land Development/Public Works - Tavares, FL

Halff is seeking a Graduate Civil Engineer to join our Land Development / Public Works team in Tavares, FL. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Civil Engineering or an ABET accredited equivalent Engineering Degree, and knowledge in public works and/or land development design, including roadway, utility, and drainage design. What You Will Do Design civil engineering projects under the direct supervision of a Professional Engineer. Assist in the preparation of plans, specifications, and cost estimates for public works and land development projects. Assist with drafting CAD work. Perform calculations and analysis for design projects. Assist in the preparation of permit applications and other regulatory documents. Coordinate with other team members, including surveyors, architects, and contractors. Attend meetings with clients and regulatory agencies. What You Will Need Bachelor's or Master’s in Civil Engineering or an ABET accredited equivalent Engineering degree. Minimum 2 years of experience in public works and/or land development design, including roadway, utility, and drainage design. Actively obtaining Engineering-in-Training (EIT) certification. Experience with AutoCAD is preferred. Experience with Civil 3D is a plus. Strong communication skills. Solid relationship and team building skills. Self‑motivated and strong organization skills.
