Lead Diesel Technician

Lead Diesel Technician – Fleet Mechanic Tuesday‑Friday 3:30 pm to 2 am Salary: $42 and up per hour, plus shift differential pay. We are seeking an experienced technician to join our team in providing excellent customer service and safety while performing fleet maintenance, including engine, transmission, and electrical diagnosis. Essential Duties And Responsibilities Repair and maintain customer vehicles and mechanical equipment such as engines, transmissions, and other equipment. Perform PMIs on tractors, trailers and other diesel‑powered equipment. Perform all types of engine, brake, drive train, electrical, and A/C repairs. Test drive vehicles. Assist and lead other technicians. Physical And Safety Requirements Move frequently, stand, walk, and sit as required. Use hands to touch, handle, feel, and reach with arms. Regularly lift and/or move up to 50 lbs and occasionally up to 100 lbs with assistance. Read and write reports. Implement and enforce health and safety rules, regulations, policies, procedures, and prescribed instructions. Certificates, Licenses, Registrations Valid driver license. Willingness to obtain a CDL if not already possessed. Experience / Education Minimum 7 years diesel tech experience required. Certificate or Degree from a diesel training program preferred.
