Location: Metropolitan at the 9 Hotel - Cleveland, OH Job Id: 1135 # of Openings: 1 The Metropolitan at The 9 | Cleveland, OH Help Create an Exceptional Guest Experience What You'll Do As a Room Attendant, you'll be responsible for cleaning and preparing guest rooms to the high standards our guests expect while helping create an exceptional hospitality experience. Your responsibilities include: Clean guest rooms, suites, and bathrooms according to hotel standards. Make beds with fresh linens and replace towels and amenities. Vacuum, sweep, mop, and dust all guest room areas. Clean and sanitize bathrooms, mirrors, countertops, showers, tubs, and toilets. Replenish guest supplies including toiletries, coffee, cups, and linens. Inspect rooms to ensure they are clean, organized, and ready for arriving guests. Report maintenance issues, damaged items, or safety concerns promptly. Remove trash and soiled linens from guest rooms. Maintain housekeeping carts in a clean, organized, and well-stocked condition. Respond to guest requests professionally and courteously. Follow all hotel safety, cleanliness, and brand standards. Complete daily assignments and cleaning checklists before the end of each shift. Previous housekeeping, hotel, or cleaning experience preferred but not required. Ability to read and follow written and verbal instructions. Strong communication and teamwork skills. Ability to work weekends, holidays, and a flexible schedule as business demands. Physical Requirements This is a physically active position requiring the ability to: Stand, walk, bend, kneel, reach, and lift throughout the shift. Push and pull housekeeping carts. Frequently lift and carry up to 50 pounds. Perform repetitive cleaning tasks while maintaining quality standards.
