What You'll Do

• Provide mobile ultrasound services at various facilities including nursing homes, home care, prisons, and processing sites
• Set up and operate portable sonographic equipment, obtaining diagnostically qualified images
• Digitally send images for radiologist interpretation
• Verify patient identity using two identifiers and ensure exam orders match patient records
• Collaborate with facility staff for patient support and positioning while respecting scope of practice
• Maintain accurate patient and exam documentation
• Conduct routine equipment maintenance and report malfunctions promptly

What You Need

• Valid Kansas sonographer license (reimbursed after 90 days)
• Proven experience in diagnostic ultrasound
• Ability to travel regionally, driving your own vehicle (company-provided vehicle will be supplied)
• Strong professional ethics and excellent communication skills
• Ability to work independently and adapt to various clinical environments
• Good organizational skills and basic computer operation

About the Assignment This position involves providing high-quality mobile ultrasound services primarily in nursing homes, correctional facilities, and home care environments. Technologists will travel regionally using a company vehicle, perform diagnostic imaging procedures, and coordinate care with facility staff, ensuring patient safety and exam accuracy.
