Afterschool Program Leader / Youth Program Coordinator
Location: Redding, CA
Pay: Starting at $22.00+/hour (based on experience)
Hours: 30 hours per week
Schedule: Monday–Friday | 11:00 AM – 5:30 PM (30-minute unpaid lunch)
Start Date: August 2026

This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who enjoys working with children and is looking for a consistent weekday schedule with evenings and weekends free.

Responsibilities
Supervise students in a safe and engaging afterschool environment.
Lead recreational, educational, and enrichment activities.
Build positive relationships with students while encouraging teamwork and personal growth.
Assist with homework support and structured activities.
Help maintain a positive, organized, and welcoming environment.
Collaborate with school staff and program leaders to ensure a successful program.
Qualifications
High school diploma or GED required
Associate's degree preferred
Experience working with children is preferred
Previous experience in childcare, education, coaching, camps, recreation, youth programs, substitute teaching, or human services is a plus
Bachelor's degree candidates and recent college graduates are encouraged to apply
Reliable, dependable, and able to maintain consistent attendance
Strong communication and teamwork skills
Passion for working with children
