Echocardiographer - Pediatrics

Pediatric Cardiac Sonographer

The need is for a Pediatric Cardiac Sonographer, and the candidate must be able to do fetal echo AND pediatric echo.

Education: Graduation from a CAAHEP or ACCSC accredited cardiac sonography program or equivalent or 10 years' experience in cardiac ultrasound.

Experience Requirements

• 6 years full time pediatric cardiac sonography. Required
• 3 years full time experience at Phoenix Children's with proven leadership skills and regular contributions to department projects in addition to primary imaging responsibilities. External candidates must have a proven track record of leadership and commit to leadership activities upon completion of orientation. Required
• 6 months of experience in the Phoenix Children's fetal cardiac program. Preferred
• Endorsement from fetal medical director and echo lab medical director. Required

Additional Requirements

• ARDMS Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer - Pediatric (RDCS PE) or CCI Registered Congenital Cardiac Sonographer (RCCS). Required
• ARDMS Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer - Fetal (RDCS FE) or (RDMS FE) Required
• Current BLS for Healthcare Providers through the American Heart Association. Required
• Membership to professional societies (ASE, SDMS, AIUM, etc). Preferred
