Hiring for a Plaintiff Personal Injury Litigation Attorney in Tampa, FL. This is an established, very collaborative plaintiffs' injury law firm looking to add to its litigation and trial team.
Responsibilities include:
- Manage the litigation cycle of the firm's more complex personal injury matters
- Develop litigation strategy and manage case development through trial
- Draft and argue complex motions, lead mediations, and handle all case advocacy
- Take and defend depositions, including witnesses and medical experts
- Manage discovery, legal research, and ongoing medical treatment monitoring
- Collaborate with Litigation support staff and litigation team associates.
Requirements for this role:
- Active member in good standing with the Florida Bar.
- Must have personal injury litigation experience, preferably on the plaintiff side
- Experience in motions practice, depositions, mediation, and case development through trial readiness
- Strong legal writing abilities, exceptional negotiation skills, and a high degree of courtroom readiness
- Well-versed in reviewing medical records, handling complex medical bills, and understanding treatment timelines as they relate to case value.
