Systems Solutions Consultant, Pharmacy Automation - Western

Becton Dickinson seeks a Systems Solutions Consultant to provide end-to-end solution management for pharmacy automation across retail, ambulatory, and long-term care settings. The role combines pre-sales consulting, workflow optimization, and post-implementation support across a 12-state western region.
Responsibilities
- Conduct workflow analysis and current state assessments to identify inefficiencies and safety concerns in medication management systems
- Develop customer-specific strategic solution roadmaps and facilitate practice change recommendations aligned with customer goals
- Serve as primary point of contact through implementation and customer lifecycle engagement
- Collaborate with sales, implementation, and support teams to ensure customers optimize solutions and achieve strategic objectives
- Provide clinical consulting input for product development and software enhancements based on healthcare industry knowledge
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy, Pharmaceutical Sciences, Industrial Engineering, or related field
- Minimum 5 years healthcare or pharmacy operations experience (inpatient or outpatient)
- Background in retail or outpatient pharmacy operations and workflow design required
- Deep knowledge of pharmacy automation dispensing solutions and medication management workflows
- Strong presentation and business writing skills
- Valid driver's license with 3 years consecutive driving history; live within 1 hour of major airport
- Based in CO, NM, AZ, CA, NV, OR, WA, MN, ID, WY, or UT
