Project Manager Business Analysis/Project ManagementOur client is seeking a Project Manager to oversee small to medium-sized technology projects, including custom software development, out-of-the-box solutions implementation, and software enhancements. This role involves managing project lifecycle activities, coordinating cross-functional teams, and ensuring successful delivery within scope, time, and budget constraints.Key ResponsibilitiesDrive all project activities through the Systems Development Life Cycle (SDLC), applying appropriate project methodologies to ensure quality and timely delivery.Assemble project teams, assign responsibilities, develop schedules, and determine resource needs.Communicate the business case to project teams to facilitate decision-making and prioritization, maintaining focus on project objectives.Act as liaison between technology and business stakeholders, providing regular updates on project status, issues, and risks to senior leadership.Create and maintain detailed project plans, including financial forecasting and tracking.Collaborate with other technology and business units to define scope, secure resources, and ensure project readiness.Review work outputs to ensure quality, adherence to deadlines, and compliance with organizational policies.Required QualificationsExperience managing multiple projects across various stages of the SDLC.Proficiency in Project Management Body of Knowledge (PMBOK) methodologies, specifically Waterfall (Guide Five and Nine).Knowledge of Agile project management methodologies.Experience leading infrastructure projects such as network upgrades, hardware procurement, and core application deployments.Ability to define systems strategy, develop requirements, design prototypes, test solutions, and support implementation under tight deadlines.Strong communication skills capable of engaging technical and non-technical audiences, including senior leadership and executives.Understanding of IT governance and reporting processes.Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, MIS, Business Administration, or a related field.At least five years of project management experience.Preferred QualificationsProject Management Professional (PMP) certification and/or Agile certification.About Delphi-USDelphi-US is a national IT services firm based in Newport, Rhode Island.
