Bachelor's or Master's degree in Social Work, active Social Worker license and minimum 1+ years School Social Work experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Your expertise will help guide students through academic, social, and emotional challenges, making a meaningful impact across multiple campuses—including a nonpublic school—with a manageable caseload of 43–48 students.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Current Michigan Department of Education approval as a School Social Worker
• Demonstrated experience in school settings supporting students’ academic and behavioral growth
• Strong abilities in crisis intervention, social-emotional learning, and collaborative consultations
• Comfortable adapting to varying student needs across a range of grade levels (K–5, 3–5)
• Excellent organizational and communication skills

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver on-site school social work services, including individual and group counseling
• Support students in navigating social, behavioral, and academic hurdles
• Collaborate closely with educators, administrators, and families to develop and implement effective intervention plans
• Promote positive learning environments that foster student resilience and well-being
• Conduct assessments and help create tailored strategies for each student’s growth
• Maintain thorough documentation and compliance with district and state requirements
