This role exists to build real partnerships, close meaningful deals, and bring the market's pulse back into Kargo. When this role is firing, key agencies are spending more, pipeline is healthy, and Kargo is earning a seat at the planning table before the brief even goes out.The Daily To-DoOwn and grow relationships across OMG and your assigned agency book, engaging key investment leads and planning contacts consistently so Kargo is positioned as a go-to partner, not a line-item vendorMeet quarterly and annual revenue targets while maintaining an accurate, well-documented Salesforce pipeline that doesn't surprise leadership at forecast timeSource new business proactively—finding angles into accounts, following up persistently, and developing net-new opportunities rather than relying on renewals or inboundBuild relationships at multiple levels within an agency—not just the day-to-day contact, but the people who influence budgetCycle market intelligence back into Kargo, giving product and strategy teams structured, useful feedback on competitive dynamics, client needs, and market signalsActivate internal teams—creative, research, yield, and account management—at the right moments to strengthen proposals and client experienceCommunicate with authority in pitches, QBRs, and client dinners alike, adjusting register for the audience without losing substanceQualifications4+ years of experience selling digital, CTV, and programmatic advertising—with the ecosystem knowledge to consult, not just pitchEstablished, warm relationships within OMG and broader agency holding company networks that can be activated quicklyDemonstrated ability to build pipeline and close—a track record of moving deals through agency buying cycles and getting to yesWorking fluency in digital ad products, programmatic mechanics, and the competitive landscape; can hold a credible conversation with sophisticated agency buyersSalesforce discipline—keeps pipeline documentation current and accurate as a matter of habitStrong written and verbal communication skills; comfortable presenting to senior stakeholders and navigating multi-level agency relationships with a hunter mentality and low egoPreferred: experience selling consultative or custom solutions, plus brand-side relationships that complement agency coverage and expand Kargo's footprintIn accordance with applicable federal, state, and local pay transparency laws, the anticipated base salary range for this position is listed below. In addition to base salary, this role is eligible to participate in the Kargo Incentive Plan (KIP).
