About the Position

Job Title

Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) – Traveler

Schedule / Job Type

Contract (13 weeks) | Rotating Day/Evening Shift | 4x10 Schedule | Onsite

Key Responsibilities

• Perform scrub technologist duties in a high-capacity operating room setting
• Rotate between day and evening shifts based on departmental needs and individual skill alignment
• Work evening shifts (1:00 PM–11:00 PM) as primary assignment when aligned with case needs; scheduled to days (7:00 AM–5:30 PM Mon, Tue, Thu, Fri; 9:00 AM–7:30 PM Wed) when evenings are not required
• Complete two weeks of night shifts per contract period
• Fulfill short call obligations (minimum two per four-week schedule) and weekend assignments
• Adjust to 12-hour weekend shifts, with 8- or 10-hour shifts scheduled during the same week to meet contracted hours

Required Qualifications

• Active CST certification required
• Experience in a high-capacity operating room is required
• Ability to work a rotating Day/Evening schedule including nights, weekends, and on-call shifts
• Flexibility to adapt shift length (8, 10, or 12 hours) based on scheduling needs

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior travel surgical technologist experience
• Proficiency across multiple surgical specialties to support varied case assignments
